Merrily We Roll Along
I finished my four years at UB by working as the Technical Director for Merrily We Roll Along in the spring of 2020. During this production I worked closely with my advisor Jon Shimon on designing a turntable for the performance, I worked on calculating the required horsepower for the motor and preparing the automation equipment for use. This production would have been the first production that the University of Buffalo would use automation in.
The automation that would power the turn table would have been powered by Creative Conners Spikemark running from a Gen 1 Stagehand. The Conners system would have controlled a chain driven turntable. Since this was the first time that UB had used an automation system Luke was charged with troubleshooting and testing the motors and configuring Spikemark.

Drafting
Above are some exerts from my drawing package for Merrily We Roll Along. This production was slated to go up in the Spring of 2020 and due to the COVID pandemic was unable to be built. The design of this production centered around a two story platform that sits on the turntable center stage.
